MBCLA's mission is to
-Teach mind- body techniques such as meditation, yoga, autogenic training and biofeedback, guided imagery, journaling, creative and artistic expression, integrative nutrition, exercise, and breath work.
-Train health and mental health providers, teachers, first responders, and interested individuals in the use of mind-body skills.
-Organize, implement, and support mind-body research in partnership with local, state, and national organizations and funders.
-Promote the integration of mind-body modalities into existing health, mental health, and educational organizations.
